Medical-grade skincare vs OTC

What makes medical-grade skincare so special?

Medical-grade skincare is held to a much higher standard than the products you would find in Target, Ulta, Sephora, or even Nordstrom. Medical-grade products are required to be 99% pure. Also, Medical Grade Skincare can only be sold through a licensed professional.

They also contain a higher concentrations of beneficial ingredients, therefore you're more likely to visibly see positive changes in your skin. Because of the higher concentrations (and less fillers) Medical Grade Skincare products can reach deeper into the skin and repair on a cellular level vs. store bought that will only sit on the top layers of your skin.

"Luxury Skincare"

Don't be fooled by pretty packages and clever marketing! Luxury skincare (Kiehl’s, Drunk Elephant, R&F, etc.) contains the same concentration of ingredients as drugstore skincare, but at a much higher price point.

Yes, medical grade skincare can get a little pricey. But instead of just paying for a "brand", you're actually paying for real results! The price you pay is because of the percentage of actives, time spent studying the product’s ingredients, and evidence-based products yield results.

A few of my favorites from Glymed Plus:

Resurfacing Night Cream with 15% Glycolic - Beauty sleep in a bottle, literally!

Glycolic Face Cleanser - great everyday cleanser for anti-aging and hyperpigmentation

Oxygen Deep Pore Masque - Oxygenating masque that instantly erases dullness and deep cleans for cleaner pores

Skin Recovery Mist - Super refreshing, vitamin-rich mist with Hyaluronic Acid to use anytime during the day
