How do I prep my skin for a facial treatment?

  • Drink plenty of water!  Keeping your body hydrated before and after your facial will help flush out the toxins after a facial massage and help to keep your skin hyrated and glowing.

  • Avoid harsh scrubs and masks a few days prior. This way you prevent any skin sensitivities/irritation that could be exacerbated during the facial. Stick to a gentle face wash and moisturizer.

  • Avoid Retinol 3 days before for the same reason above! Retinol is safe to continue 3 days post facial.

  • No long term sun exposure. Sunburned skin can be very sensitive and unable to handle the strength of many treatments. If you do happen to show up sunburned, you''ll be receiving a treatment that includes super soothing CBD skincare and ice globes to soothe and heal your skin.

  • Skin goals! Think about your skin goals and communicate with your esthetician what you'd like to achieve from your facial treatment. We can come up with a treatment plan if needed or switch up your skincare regimen with products better suited to better help accomplish your skin goals. If you need help creating a new skincare regimen, or struggling to maintain the health of your skin, I would love to help you out!
